Tompkinsville residents will have two opportunities to join a community-wide spring cleaning in April.

APRIL 14: TOMPKINSVILLE SPRING CLEANUP
On Saturday, April 14, volunteers of all ages are invited to enjoy the great outdoors and serve their community during the Tompkinsville Spring Cleanup. Volunteers will receive a free T-shirt, while supplies last.

Volunteer registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. at City Hall. There, volunteers will choose their location to clean, and they will receive their trash bags, safety vests and gloves. From 9 a.m. until Noon, volunteers will pick up litter along city streets and in city park. If volunteers do not have a preference for the area they clean, a location will be assigned to them.

APRIL 16-20: HEAVY GARBAGE PICK-UP
The week of April 16-20, Tompkinsville residents can get rid of heavy trash items, such as refrigerators and stoves. The city’s Heavy Garbage Pick-Up Week will help residents tackle spring cleaning at home. To schedule pick up of your heavy garbage between April 16 and April 20, please call City Hall at 270-487-6776.
