Tuesday, April 24, will be Free Household Hazardous Waste Day at the Pulaski County Recycling Center, 218 W. Hwy. 80, Somerset. From 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., Pulaski County residents can drop off: paint in cans, mercury, motor oil, poisons, pesticides, aerosol cans, solvents, corrosive acids, household cleaners, unbroken fluorescent tubes, batteries (auto and boat) and propane cylinders (small size only). Pulaski County residents only. Limit of 100 pounds per person. No businesses may participate. Event staff will unload waste. This event is sponsored by PRIDE, Pulaski County Recycling Center, 109 Board and Pulaski County Government.
