Welcome spring by volunteering to spruce up the roads leading to one of the South's most scenic attractions -- Cumberland Falls. This is the perfect outdoor event for families and friends to enjoy the great outdoors and make a difference in the community. Safe cleanup areas for children will be designated.
At 9 a.m., volunteer registration will begin at the Gift Shop beside Cumberland Falls. A safety briefing will be held before school buses transport volunteers to sites along Hwy. 90.
From 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. ET, volunteers will pick up litter along Hwy. 90 near the park.
Volunteers will enjoy:
- Free lunch
- Free T-shirt, while supplies last
- Chance at door prizes
- Awards for school group and community group that bring the most volunteers
- Presentation of Volunteer Cup trophy to the county with the most volunteers participating
- Time outside with friends and family
- Cleaner scenery for us and tourists
All volunteers should dress appropriately for working outdoors in the weather that morning. Sturdy shoes are recommended. PRIDE will provide disposable gloves and safety vests.
