8:30 am: Friends of Lake Cumberland Cleanup8:30 am: Friends of Lake Cumberland Cleanup – Are you a friend of Lake Cumberland? Then please volunteer to pick up trash along its shores! Bring your family or friends to enjoy a day of community service in one of the most scenic spots in the Commonwealth. Kid-friendly cleanup sites will be available. SCHEDULE AND LOCATIONS
8:30 AM - Volunteer Registration at Waitsboro Recreation Area (500 Waitsboro Rd, Somerset, KY 42503) and Conley Bottom Resort (270 Conley Bottom Rd, Monticello, KY 42633)
9:00 AM - Cleanup Begins
12:00 PM - Volunteer Appreciation Picnic @ Cole Park (7929 S. Hwy. 27, Burnside)
