On April 6, volunteers are invited to pick up litter throughout the  Lincoln County and the City of Stanford. In Stanford, volunteers should meet at the Chamber of Commerce by 9:00, and they will clean until 12:00. In the county, volunteers can clean up any time.

To pick up volunteer forms and cleanup supplies before April 6, visit city hall or the court house.

Floyd County residents are encouraged to pick-up roadside litter across the county. They can pick-up free cleanup supplies at their local fire departments. Their filled bags should be left in a visible spot or taken to the fire department, and the county will collect them.

Help pick up litter along the lake roads so the area looks its best for us and our visitors! Invite your friends and neighbors to join the outdoor fun!

There will be:

  • FREE COOK-OUT for all volunteers.
  • DOOR PRIZE DRAWING for all volunteers.
  • KID-FRIENDLY CLEANUP AREAS available.

Volunteer registration begins 9 am CT at:  Hendricks Creek Dock, Sulphur Creek Dock, Dale Hollow State Resort Park’s Picnic Area, Clinton County Court House

Volunteers will pick up litter 10 am - 12 pm CT. Then, they will gather for the free cookout and door prize drawing.

9:00 am: PRIDE Spring Cleanup @ Cumberland Falls State Resort Park


April 27, 2019

Volunteers are invited to welcome Spring by cleaning one of Kentucky's most beautiful and popular sites. Volunteers will pick up litter along Hwy. 90, leading to Cumberland Falls State Resort Park, and other roads near the park.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the Gift Shop beside Cumberland Falls. The cleanup will begin at 10 a.m. Volunteer groups with children will be directed to age-appropriate cleanup areas.

All volunteers will receive a free lunch, and they will be entered in a drawing for door prizes.

Awards will be given to the Community Group and School Group that bring the most volunteers. Also, the Volunteer Cup trophy will be presented to the county that recruits the most volunteers.

All volunteers should dress appropriately for working outdoors in the weather that morning. Sturdy shoes are recommended. PRIDE will provide disposable gloves and safety vests.
