    Volunteers are invited to pick up roadside litter throughout Pulaski County during the annual PRIDE Clean Sweep. Volunteers can pick up litter any time between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. PRIDE will provide the trash bags.

    PRE-REGISTRATION ENCOURAGED:
    Volunteer groups are encouraged to register before April 20. They will be assigned an area to clean and receive their trash bags, gloves and safety vests early.

    DAY-OF REGISTRATION:
    Volunteers who are not part of a pre-registered group are invited to register and receive their cleanup supplies on April 20. Day-of registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. at The Center for Rural Development, which is located at Traffic Light #15.

     

    INSTRUCTIONS:

    If you pick up litter in one of these spots, then leave your filled bags beside the road, and the Highway Department will pick them up:

    • U.S. 27
    • Downtown Somerset
    • Industrial parks
    • KY 914 Bypass
    If you pick up litter somewhere else, then please call 677-0320 to reach Danny Masten, Pulaski County Solid Waste Coordinator. He will arrange pick up of your filled bags.
