Volunteers are invited to pick up roadside litter throughout Pulaski County during the annual PRIDE Clean Sweep. Volunteers can pick up litter any time between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
If you pick up litter in one of these spots, then leave your filled bags beside the road, and the Highway Department will pick them up:
- U.S. 27
- Downtown Somerset
- Industrial parks
- KY 914 Bypass
If you pick up litter somewhere else, then please call 677-0320 to reach Danny Masten, Pulaski County Solid Waste Coordinator. He will arrange pick up of your filled bags.
PRE-REGISTRATION ENCOURAGED:
Volunteer groups are encouraged to register before April 14. They will be assigned an area to clean and receive their trash bags, gloves and safety vests early.
