PRIDE Volunteer of the Month
Do you have a person or organization that out-shined others in their work and dedication to PRIDE? We want to know who that person or organization is! Each month PRIDE, in conjunction with TECO Coal Corporation, recognizes an individual or organization that has gone above and beyond the expectations of a typical volunteer as part of our PRIDE Volunteer of the Month program.
If your nominee is selected as the PRIDE Volunteer of the Month, that person or organization will receive a certificate and we will issue press releases to your local media recognizing his/her/their efforts. They will also be featured on WYMT-TV in Hazard or its sister station, WBKO-TV in Bowling Green throughout the entire month of their selection.

PRIDE Environmental Education Project of the Month
The PRIDE Environmental Education Project of the Month program rewards creative, effective ways of promoting environment awareness and stewardship. The award recipients receive framed certificates, as well as public recognition in their local media, in PRIDE publications and on the PRIDE web site.
Eligibility
This program is open to any environmental education project in the 38 counties served by PRIDE. The projects can involve any age group, not just school-age children. Eligible recipients include, but are not limited to: schools, nonprofit organizations, local governments and businesses.
PRIDE selects the award recipients from nominations submitted by someone who has first-hand knowledge of the project. For example, nominators could be the teacher in charge of the project, the PRIDE Coordinator who assisted with it or citizens who benefitted from it. Self-nominations are encouraged.
