The annual Laurel Lake Cleanup is set for Saturday, April 9, 2016. Volunteers will gather at the Laurel River Lake Dam Spillway, pick up litter along the shore, and then gather for a free picnic and door prizes.

All Laurel Lake Cleanup volunteers will enjoy a free lunch and a chance at door prizes.  A special prize will go to the volunteer who finds the most unusual piece of trash.  The county with the most volunteers will take home the Cleanup Cup trophy, so come support your county.

Volunteers will clean up between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Boat owners, please bring your boat to help us move volunteers and trash bags. All volunteers are welcome.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. at the Laurel Dam Beach Spillway. The picnic will begin as volunteers return to the spillway.
