Dale Hollow Spring Cleanup nets 400-plus bags of trash

A cookout was held for the 99 volunteers who picked up roadside litter during the Dale Hollow Spring Cleanup.

Nearly 100 volunteers turned out to pick up roadside litter during the fifth annual Dale Hollow Spring Cleanup on Saturday, April 25. Ninety-nine volunteers filled 432 trash bags with litter that they had collected along the roads leading to Dale Hollow Lake. All volunteers received a free lunch, and several won door prizes.
