Help beautify your community on Earth Day!

WHAT: Volunteers will pick up roadside litter across the county.

WHERE: The target areas are U.S. 27, downtown Somerset, the industrial parks and the Ky. 914 Bypass. In these areas, volunteers can leave their filled trash bags along the side of the road for the highway department to pick up. If you would like to clean a different spot, please call to make arrangements for trash pickup.

WHEN: Thursday, April 22, 2021 (RAIN OR SHINE), 8 am to 4 pm. Volunteers pick up litter at their convenience any time that day.

WHO:  Individuals, businesses, schools and other organizations are welcome. Kid-friendly cleanup areas are available.

HOW: Groups are encouraged to pre-register to be assigned a cleanup area. Day-of registration opens 8:30 am at The Center for Rural Development.

Are you a friend of Lake Cumberland? Then please volunteer to pick up trash along its shores!

**Social distancing between volunteer groups will be observed. As long as volunteers stay in the group they came with, face coverings will not be necessary.**

Bring your family or friends to enjoy a day of community service in one of the most scenic spots in the Commonwealth. Kid-friendly cleanup sites will be available.

8:00 am: PRIDE Spring Cleanup @ Cumberland Falls State Resort Park

We were rained out on March 27 - We hope you can join us on May 1

Volunteers are invited to welcome Spring by cleaning one of Kentucky's most beautiful and popular sites. Volunteers will pick up litter along Hwy. 90, leading to Cumberland Falls State Resort Park, and other roads near the park.

Pre-Register

Pre-registration is encouraged. This will allow organizers to plan where volunteers will cleanup. When you pre-register, you will either choose a spot that you want to clean or allow the organizers to pick the spot where you are most needed. You will receive an email with more information after you pre-register.
