Request for Bids: Bathroom and Shower Building

Impact Outdoor Adventures, is seeking sealed bids for a new bathroom and shower facility for an RV Campground in Manchester, KY. The proposal should include design and construction of a 28’ X 20’ block structure with a 3/12 slope (minimum) metal roof. There should be five 36” X 80” metal doors with locks, one external water spigot and two external drinking faucets with ADA accessibility. Two shower rooms with handicap accessible railing with seat or fold down bench need to be included. The men’s restroom should consist of one sink and one hand dryer, baby changing station, one toilet stall and one urinal. The women’s restroom should consist of one sink, one hand dryer, baby changing station, two toilets with separated stalls. Also included, a 48” sidewalk around the perimeter of the building with shower access and utility closet on the back side of building. Interior block shall be painted. All work and permits shall be acquired and performed by contractor per federal, state and local permits. Contractor is responsible for obtaining all permits and meeting all ADA requirements. The completed construction should be turnkey.

A mandatory site visit will be held Friday, March 3, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. All sealed bids must be delivered or received no later than 2:00 p.m., Tuesday , March 14, 2023 to the PRIDE office located at 2292 S. Hwy 27, Somerset, Ky 42501. See full RFB for details. No electronic or faxed bids will be accepted. Late bids will be returned to bidder unopened. Bids will be opened in the PRIDE office immediately following the closing of the solicitation. No more than (2) representatives per firm may attend the bid opening.
