Do you have junk tires stacked somewhere on your property? Piled in a sinkhole? Scattered in old barns? Now is the time to get rid of them … forever … and for free!

The Kentucky Division of Waste Management’s Waste Tire Collection Program will operate this spring and summer in the counties of the following Area Development Districts: Big Sandy, Cumberland Valley, Gateway and Kentucky River. That includes 25 counties served by PRIDE.

PRIDE encourages citizens to take advantage of these events!

The dates for each county are below. For each county’s drop-off location and contact information, click here for a PDF by the Division of Waste Management.

The Kentucky Division of Waste Management’s free Waste Tire Collection Program (formerly known as Tire Amnesty) is an ongoing, state-run program to rid Kentucky’s landscape of waste tires. Individuals can drop off their unwanted tires at a location within their county free of charge during the collection period. The tires are recycled through “beneficial end use” markets to become products, such as tire-derived fuel or crumb rubber.
