Students invited to join T-shirt design contest
September 10, 2013 by clackey
Congressman Hal Rogers congratulated Casey Joe Stephens, a third-grader at Whitley City Elementary School, for winning a regional contest to design the 2013 PRIDE Spring Cleanup T-shirt, which was given to thousands of volunteers in April.
We invite all schools in the PRIDE region to participate in the 2013/2014 PRIDE T-Shirt Design Contest. PRIDE wants to give students the opportunity to create the PRIDE 2014 theme and design a t-shirt to use for the 2014 PRIDE Spring Cleanup events. This would be a fun activity to allow students to be creative and express why personal responsibility is important to them and their community. The design should depict a catchy theme for PRIDE to use in 2014 to promote Spring Cleanup and be used for the 2014 PRIDE Spring Cleanup T-shirt.
The winning design and theme will be featured by PRIDE in 2014. Each student who participates in the project will receive a Certificate of Participation from PRIDE.
