Volunteers invited to Corbin Bypass Cleanup, Oct. 1
September 27, 2011 by clackey

Volunteers are invited to pick up litter along the Corbin Bypass on Oct. 1, just as these volunteers did during the 2010 Corbin Bypass Cleanup.
The Tri-County Cineplex and PRIDE invite you to the 7th annual Corbin Bypass Cleanup, Saturday, Oct. 1, from 9 am until 11 am.
A private movie party — with free movies, Pepsi, popcorn and hotdogs — will be enjoyed by all volunteers immediately after the cleanup.
All volunteers will receive a T-shirt for their efforts in this worthy cause. Also, all volunteers will be entered in a raffle to win free movie admissions for one year, as well as other great prizes.
Registration opens at 8 am at the Tri-County Cineplex, which is located at 1871 Cumberland Falls Highway.
Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.
Volunteers under the age of 18 years old need a waiver form signed by a parent or guardian. These forms can be picked up in advance at the Tri-County Cineplex or can be completed the day of the event.
So remember, on Oct. 1, let’s “movie our feet and clean up the street!”
