WHAT: Free disposal of up to 100 pounds of household hazardous waste. Here are the types of items that will be accepted (For a complete list of items that will be accepted, see page 2 of the flyer):
- Paint in cans
- Mercury
- Motor oil
- Poisons
- Pesticides
Aerosol cans - Solvents
- Corrosive acids
- Household cleaners
- Batteries (auto & boat)
- Unbroken fluorescent tubes
- Propane cylinders (small size only)
WHO: Pulaski County residents ONLY. NO BUSINESSES will be allowed to participate.
WHEN: Friday, April 8, 9 am - 2 pm
WHERE: Pulaski County Recycling Center, 218 W. Hwy. 80 (Turn west off Hwy. 27 at light #4, go less than 1/4 mile, look for recycling signs on the right)
HOW: Follow the entrance and exit lines. Drive through and stay in your car. Workers will unload the waste from your vehicle.
