Dec. 3 is #GivingTuesday. This international campaign encourages folks to support their favorite causes, after a day of thanksgiving and several days of shopping.

Your donation will put PRIDE to work. If you give on #GivingTuesday (or any day), we’ll fund volunteer cleanups and stewardship lessons for a healthier, cleaner region. Here are some ways your donation will pay off:

• $20 will supply volunteers the bags to pick up 5,000 pounds of trash
• $25 will reach 65 students with a hands-on environmental education activity
• $75 will dispose of 2 tons of trash collected by volunteers
• $100 will involve 275 students in an environmental education project

You may win a $375 cash prize, and PRIDE may win a $1,000 cash prize! Prizes will be given every hour on #GivingTuesday by Razoo, the fundraising web site for nonprofits, which we use. At 6am, 8am, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm and 10pm ET, the nonprofit with the most donors in the previous hour will win $1,000. On every odd hour during the day (7am, 9am, etc.), one donor will be drawn at random to receive $375. You could be one of the lucky 12 winners!
