Request for Bids for Habitat Restoration

Eastern Kentucky PRIDE, Inc., is seeking sealed bids for Habitat Restoration for the proposed Appalachian Wildlife Center AML Pilot Project. The project consists of installing drainage control ditches to correct erosion problems across an approximate 60-acre general area in the Appalachian Wildlife Center site located in the former industrial park in Bell County approximately 10 miles southeast of Pineville. Bid documents will be available starting Friday, January 12, 2018, and may be DOWNLOADED BELOW (scroll down) or by contacting the PRIDE office at 888-577-4339.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on site Friday, January 26, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. ET. All pre-bid questions must be received by 4:00 p.m. ET, Tuesday, January 30, 2018, in order to receive response by addendum prior to bid opening. All sealed bids must be delivered and received no later than 4:00 p.m. ET, Thursday, February 8, 2018, to the PRIDE office located in The Center for Rural Development at 2292 S. Hwy 27, Somerset, Ky 42501. See full RFB for details. Bids will be opened 4:05 p.m. ET, Thursday, February 8, 2018, at the Second Floor Conference Room at The Center for Rural Development, 2292 S. Hwy 27, Somerset, Ky. No more than (2) representatives per firm may attend the bid opening.  Eastern Kentucky PRIDE, Inc. reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

No electronic or faxed submissions will be accepted. Late submissions will be returned unopened. Attention of respondents to this RFB is called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed under the contract, Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968; Section 109 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974; Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Executive Order 11246; Certification of Non-segregated Facilities; and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
