Text for Your Fundraiser

“This is how we do it here.” Back in 1997, that was an excuse heard in southern and eastern Kentucky for dumping trash over the hill and throwing litter out the car window. That old saying has new meaning today, thanks to PRIDE. Now the region’s young people say, “This is how my parents do it,” and “This is what I learned at school,” when they talk about recycling, volunteering, and protecting waterways.

Over the past 20 years, PRIDE has redefined how southern and eastern Kentuckians think about environmental stewardship, solid waste, and water quality. Our new understanding has led to better habits, cleaner scenery, and healthier waterways. #AGenerationOfChange

Let’s keep up the momentum! Your donation will pay for hands-on environmental education activities for students, as well as volunteers’ trash bags and trash disposal fees.
